For many years children from surrounding local communities dropped out of school before or after completing primary school education. A good majority of those who qualified to joint High School could not afford it. New Dawn Educational Centre has come into this community as an advocate of change that has restored hope of achieving career dreams by providing affordable education to many youth.
New Dawn Educational Centre is a Community Based School located in Huruma Village between the outskirts of Runda Estate and Karura Forest in Kenya. It offers secondary education & vocational training. It has 4 classrooms, 2 science laboratories, a computer laboratory, a library, staff offices, a staffroom, kitchen, appliances storage & a multipurpose hall.
Over the years, our partners and well wishers have granted scholarships to a number of qualified candidates who join local Universities and Colleges. The impact affects entire families.
